Hello, im Zachary John Moore, a seasoned musician and educator hailing from East Anglia, with over two decades of experience. 

I started my guitar journey during the Britpop era, and my musical influences have since expanded to encompass Blues, Soul, Jazz, Funk, Country and of course classic Rock and Pop. This means when teaching no genre is off-topic, after all, good music knows no boundaries. 

Over my 20 years of teaching, i’ve taught 1:1, groups & classrooms lessons in schools and colleges, worked as musicial educator for council run programmes and taught many private students, be it learning the songs they love, grades or studying for GCSE & college performance, ive covered it. 

Whether I’m teaching a beginner or an advanced player, I tailor lessons to help students achieve their musical goals. With my song-based learning approach, I’ll ensure effective and enjoyable learning, I aim to have students playing the music they love, whilst learning new skills and unlocking their full potential.

I regularly perform as a solo artist, in duos, and with cover/function bands, in the UK and Europe, with recent performances I’ve been exploring Roots, Jazz, Country and Soul music. 

I’m guitarist, singer, and songwriter for indie band Absolute Beginners. I also work as a session guitarist for various artists, and have recently collaborated with Moroccan artists AKA’Ali & Boujlaba.

I hold a degree in popular music, comprehensive safeguard training and full DBS.
